August 1, 1985 - Adam La Marque Jones is an American professional baseball outfielder with the Baltimore Orioles of Major League Baseball. A two-time All-Star outfielder, Adam Jones is a rising star who has played most of his major league games with the Baltimore Orioles. Jones was traded to the Orioles by the Seattle Mariners prior to the 2008 season. He won a Gold Glove Award for his defensive play in 2009. Jones recently signed a six-year, $85.5 million contract extension to remain in Baltimore.
