August 4, 1971 - Jeffery Michael "Jeff" Gordon is an American professional stock car racing driver. A four-time NASCAR Cup series champion, Jeff Gordon is one of stock car racing’s all-time greats. The first NASCAR driver to reach $100 million in career winnings, Gordon is third on the all-time wins list with 85 career wins, including three Daytona 500 victories. Gordon still drives the No. 24 car that he began driving in 1993, a season in which he was named NASCAR’s Rookie of the Year.
