Happy Birthday: Chris Mullin

July 30, 1963 - Christopher Paul Mullin is a retired American basketball player and former general manager of the NBA's Golden State Warriors. A five-time NBA All-Star, Chris Mullin was among the best outside shooters of his era. Mullin played for the Golden State Warriors and Indiana Pacers from 1985 to 2001, averaging 18.2 points per game during his career. While in college at St. John’s, Mullin was named Big East Player of the Year from 1983 to 1985. Mullin was a member of the US men’s Olympic team in 1984 and the ‘Dream Team’ in 1992. He was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2011. Mullin is currently an NBA analyst for ESPN. He has also been elected to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
