Happy Birthday: Zach Parise

July 28, 1984 - Zachary Justin Parise is an American professional ice hockey left winger of French-Canadian origin. An NHL All-Star and rising talent, Zach Parise is a left wing for the Minnesota Wild. Parise signed with Minnesota after playing for the New Jersey Devils from 2005 to 2012. Parise was a member of the United States’ hockey team that won the silver medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Prior to the Americans’ overtime loss in the gold medal game against Canada, Parise scored a game-tying goal with 24 seconds left in regulation.
