August 17, 1970 - James Spencer "Jim" Courier, Jr. is a former world no. 1 professional tennis player from the United States. The youngest man to reach the finals of all four Grand Slam singles tournaments, Jim Courier was the world No.1-ranked tennis player in 1992. From 1988 to 2000, Courier won 23 tournaments, including four men’s Grand Slam singles titles. He was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2005.
