August 16, 1961 - Christian Emeka Okoye, is a Nigerian-American former American football running back for the Kansas City Chiefs from 1987 to 1992. Known as ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ for his punishing running style and Nigerian heritage, Christian Okoye was a two-time Pro Bowl running back for the Kansas City Chiefs during his playing career from 1987 to 1992. Okoye was the NFL’s rushing champion in 1989, when he was named the AFC’s Offensive Player of the Year.
